What else

This is a photo of Tyler aged 8 months took this off Alan and Siew Gin's blog more photo's see link to their blog.

He is a great baby and smiles such a lot saw him on skype the other day and he is growing up fast and brings a lot of joy to Patrick and I.

Just had to steal this picture of them all at Hanging Lake as it brought back so many happy memories of our climb to to the top on a vist a couple of years ago. It was a really tough going getting to the top and I had to have help and support from everyone but when we got to the top it was like magic, would not have missed it for the world.

Still July

Well earlier in the month I had an email from Alan saying Siew Gin wanted Pip the Pirate pool for Tyler it was no longer available in the shops but a new one was on ebay. I have been a member for some time put never used it so I thought this would be a good opportunity to try my luck. Well I won and the pool arrived.

Then I had to get it to the USA well I found a brilliant company that shipped it to them left me on Monday ar 11.11 am and was with Alan by Wednesday at 10.23 am. Will use them in future to send more presents to Tyler.

This is what the pool looks like looking forward to seeing a picture of Tyler playing in it Siew Gin says she hasn't been out to get the balls yet I expect they will need a lot looking at the size of it.

Flushed with success I then tried bidding on more items and won Tow and Duddley Spare for Jake.

Really got carried away and also brought some scales will now have a go at selling.

July is going so fast

I have been up to Bristol again to visit Jake and Daniel and of course Barry and Sarah, a great time was had by grandma and Jake and I enjoyed my special time with Daniel especially feeding him.

While I was away Patrick got the ponds cleared out and started the waterfall, looked great when I came home.

Waterfall and bottom pond the fish have been busy and there are lots of little fish in both ponds,
we have also been busy making a willow cover around the seat at the top of the garden great place to have coffee in the mornings.

The flowers in all the pots are now out hope the display lasts until Siew Gin's parents arrive.

Front of the house look carefully and you will see our Elk that Alan and Siew Gin brought for us and I carried back to the UK, also a black bear.

What else have we been doing well besides visiting friends, and walking of course geocaching
yesterday eveing we managed another two and managed to leave the Purple Lizzard that we had for a long time as most of the caches have been micro's and no room for him.

Purple Lizard just waiting to get in the catche.

Looking after Jake

I spent a very nice time looking after Jake, while Barry and Sarah looked after Daniel, I did manage to get in a few cuddles with the Daniel.

Jake and I played, and generally had fun one of his favorite games was racing with gradma and riding his bike.

One afternoon Barry and I went to the park with Jake and Barry and I had to sit in the carriages while Jake was the ticket inspector, driver and supplied us with food. This is jake putting coal and water in the engine.

Barry and Jake riding on the horse.

Jake riding his new bike in the playground the best thing he tells me is the water bottle, on the back.

On the Saturday Patrick came up for the weekend and we all went to the Zoo this is Jake and I taking a well earned rest.

Jake tried very hard to catch the bird but he managed to keep just ahead.

Jake went round the seal lion enclosure three times, here he is taking a break.

Grandad and Jake playing at the zoo.

Almost time to go home so here are some pictures of Jake and Daniel.

June Continued

Jake has a new T-shirt with one of his favourite words on "bored".
Also he is using his car plate that Uncle Alan and Aunty Siew Gin bought him for Christmas.

After helping to set up Daniels new Gym Jake had to try it out.

Jake had this lovely lego police station from his new brother.

Patrick came up for the weekend to see Daniel, and managed to cut the grass and move a lot of the rubish where Barry had cut down the front hedge, so Jake and I were able to play in the garden I have never run round so much for a long time.

Jake and I spent Thursday playing games but listening for the phone call, When Barry phoned he was so excited and cheered he wanted to know if he had had a bath.

So we quickly had our tea so that we could go into see the new arrival.

Sarah was in a bed by the window and Barry held up Daniel, Jake was so excited he didn't know whether to put the presents down so I could pick him up in the end I picked him up presents and all. Barry came out to get Jake and he went in to spend some time with his new brother.

Sarah and Daniel just a few hours old.

Jake could not wait to show off his new brother to me, and then he helped Barry to feed him.
While I had a little cuddle Barry and Jake went off to explore the hospital shop.

June

Well its June already, we have had a very busy month with Patrick doing more training for the BB and we had an awarnes day at the Old Market in Taunton, unfortunately it clashed with an training day for Patrick for MND so he helped set up in the morning and then came back late afternoon to help clear up. My friend Daphne was a great help and we managed to get in some shopping while we had other helpers on the stand.

Patrick and I manning the stand.

We also had an open meeting for MND in Taunton but again Patrick could not make it as it clashed with the Boys' Brigade AGM, I was lucky Val came with me and was a great support.

Then before I knew it my birthday was here.

I had a lovely card from Tyler and even a photo of him writing his name such a clever boy. The words in the card were great I think he may have had some help.

I was sent a picture of Tyler checking out the card.

Card from Jake with ten kisses his favorite number
Jake was so excited he bought me a duck for the pond for my birthday, he wrapped it and helped me to open it. As you can see the fish love the duck.
