Now it's time for the grown ups

Trying to clear away some of the wrapping paper and make sure we have not missed any vitial parts.

More clearing up it takes longer to wrap presents than it does to open them

What has Mummy got?

We all had a great day and it was really lovely to see Alan, Siew Gin and Tyler on the web cam enjoying their chistmas, unfortunately Jake had gone to bed so he missed seeing Tyler.

Tyler looked lovely in his father christmas outfit and he has grown since I have come home cannot wait to see him again in the new year. Pictures of his christmas on the link to Alan and Siew Gin.

Jake thinks Father Christmas Has Been

Jake was very good he had his breakfast first and then could not wait to open up his presents, his face was a picture, you will note he did not stop to get dressed.

As you can see he didn't need help this year opening the presents.

He loved his special cup a present from Aunty Siew Gin, Uncle Alan and Tyler

While I was visting Alan and Siew Gin I ordered this special Dora book with pictures of Jake inside to start with he could not make out how he got in the storey especially when it mentioned his birthday and where he lives. Sarah says it a long story and he enjoys her reading it to him.

Wookey Hole Cave

Jake and Barry looking at the last part of the cave tour

We had a great day at Wookey hole and we asked Jake if he wanted to see the caves, he wanted too so we all walked up to the caves just before the last tour but there was no one else there so we had our own priviate tour. The guide was very good and took a likeing to Jake and allowed him to press the buttons when instructed to light up the different features. Needless to say Jake was very excited by the whole experince, and we learn't a lot about the caves. The ony thing was the cheese they store down there was quite pungent.

This is what we were looking at on the second picture you can see the walk way that we came along to the final part of the cave. We were all surpised at the amount of information and makes you want to buy a book on the history of the area

Visit to Father Christmas

Last year Alan and Siew Gin came over for Christmas and we all went to Wookey Hole to see Father Christmas. Unfortunately this year they were in Colorado with Tyler and Grandad had to work.
So Sarah, Barry, Jake and Grandma set off to see him. This should be an annual event.

Jake with the huskey's waiting for Father Christmas.

Still waiting but the Elves were very nice.

At last with Father Christmas, who wrote down everything Jake wanted which were car's and Bob the Builder toys, Father Christmas said he had been a good boy and he would see what he could do.

Jake had a lovey dog from Father Christmas and he called him DA.

Holiday has come to an end

Posted by PicasaWell the time has come for me to leave it was a very tearful time, I shall miss my little grandson Tyler and also his mum and dad.
I had a great time and enjoyed myself very much, it was a real pleasure to spend so much time with Tyler and even the nappy changing was great fun. Cannot wait until I see them all again, in the meantime I will have to content myself with the blog and seeing him on the web cam.
Thanks to Alan and Siew Gin for making sure I enjoyed my visit.

TYLER'S ONE MONTH PARTY

Tyler helping to cut his one month birthday cake with mum and dad
Tyler taking it easy at his party

Well as you would expect not only is Tyler one month old but it would be an occasion to eat lots of food.

Besides giving red eggs to all the guest before they leave it is traditional that you have these red sweets shown in the front of the picture. They look like little turtles and the writing on the top says long life.

In the kitchen they was more food and I must say it was really good, Siew Gin had chosen a good selection of food. In fact it was good most people had a number of visits to the food
