Under the Wall Paper

Look what was under the wall paper did not realize we had put up the paper so long ago.

33 years ago where has the time gone?

Now on to the small bedroom

After finishing the bathroom we have started on the small bedroom we did not know we had so much stuffed into this room.  After getting rid of the bed and the wardrobe and clearing out everything we were ready to start.

On some of the walls we had woodchip wall paper that had been painted which everyone says is almost impossible to get off I did some research on the internet and found this product that sounded like a miricle Wallwik I placed the order and parcel force managed to loose the parcel so they had to send me another which did not come until Tuesday in the meantime we got on with the electric's and painted the ceiling also Patrick rubbed down the woodwork.

Patrick did not think it would work non did some of our friends but it did here is the proof.

After soaking the sheets provided you put them on the wall and wait 30 minutes.

After thirty minutes Patrick gave it a go and it worked !!!!

The paper came off in one long strip.

This was wonderful news as when we finish this room we are starting on the landing, stairs and hall and there is a lot of woodchip to remove.

More pictures when the room is finished at the moment the whole house is upside down, new carpet in dining room, new wardrobe on the landing, underlay standing in the hall cannot wait to get it all back in the right places.

Decorating Bathroom

Patrick has been busy decorating the bathroom, some new tiles, new bath panel and toilet seat, plus carpet and mats.  I was in charge of painting and cutting and pasting the wall paper some pictures of the fisihed results.

Picture was taken before we had put on the radiator cover.

Shows new bath panel Patrick had to remove the skirting board to fix this.

You can just make out the new wall paper which is white and grey, also had to buy new matching towels.
