Jake's Visit

Jake had chickenpox so when he was feeling better he came for a visit I do not know who enjoyed it the most. What he really wanted to do so play in the garden and help grandad.
Jake loves water and spent a lot of time filling up containers and watering cans to water all the flowers and vegetables.
While the cans were filling up he ran round the lawn and to fill a watering can he could go round six times the small container he could only run round twice it kept him occupied for a long time.
Helping grandad in the vegetable plot he pulled up a lot of weeds arround the plum trees but here he is inspecting the potatoes he is looking forward to being able to dig them up later.
Some of the days it was wet so we had to go shopping or play in doors the pool and balls was a great success and Patrick and I spent many hours helping him to put the balls back in the pool they came out much quicker. This is him under the balls
That was fun.
He picked me some flowers and then arranged them as you can see.

Busy Week

We have been busy in the garden painting the fences, a gate and trying to get in all the plants that we had brought on in the greenhouse.

Patrick has been busy over the last couple of weeks training new Boys' Brigade Officers to run a Junion Section in Bridgwater and the president invited both Patrick and I to the service on the Sunday moring when they received their new colours.

Patrick, Peter Norris the President and his wife and two officers from Bridgwater.

Picture after the event with the children from the church.

At last we have put out a new cache called Teddy Bears in Somerset it is mainly for children, but so far it is mostly adults who have been to visit. This is a picture of the bears before they left home.

Geocaching

When we were visiting Alan and Siew Gin we picked up some Travel Bugs so thought we had better try and increase our finds, so we went off to try some near to home.
The red Jeep visiting Walk the Plank it cetainly moved a lot.

Spork also visiting Walk the Plank before being taken to a geocaching event
When we got home we noticed that there was a geocaching event in Weston Super Mare so as we had not been to a Bristol event before so when Patrick finished work we set off and had a very enjoyable evening and a good meal. We also dropped off some of the camouflage tape we had brought home for the Wheelybarrow's, who were in charge of the TB table.

The Bucket and Spade where the event was held unfortunatley it rained so we had to hold the event indoors, we did manage 3 caches before the event.
Patrick with another catcher wearing the badge Alan made for us.
This photo was put on the page after the event saying it was Evelyn and Patrick but as you can see it is not Patrick. It is the shruberyman.

Visit to Barry Sarah and Jake

Jake was very keen to get his new toys that Uncle Alan and Aunty Siew Gin and of course presents from Grandad and Grandma so we went up to Bristol for the weekend.

Jake was over the moon with the new Bob the Builder toys and grandma had forgotten to charge the camera so no photo's.

Jake and Mum cleaning off the slide as it had been raining.

Sarah took this photo she told Jake to open his eyes and he certainly did, he is also wearing his hat from USA.

Grandad and Grandma took Jake to Toys R Us to buy a present for the new baby and Jake had a ride on this tractor.
