Geocaching

Today we found out there were no teddy bears left in our cache, so as we had some at home we thought we had better take out some new ones.  It was a lovely day and we enjoyed the walk.

We also had a Travel Bug to drop off

After puting the cache back we decided to walk back through the woods, which was lucky as the farmer drove his sheep up the bridleway and there would have been no where to get out of their way.

Pictures

We do not go to the cinema very offen but have just been to see I Bought a Zoo which was very good it is based on a real story of a family who brought a zoo in Devon Dartmoor Zoo.
We hope to go and visit the zoo later this year.

The film was made in USA so was not exactly the same but based on facts.

The other film was The Best Escote Marigold Hotel it brought back happy memories of my visit to India with Alan,Siew Gin and Tyler Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

Both films are certainly worth a visit.

Spring

This weekend we have been busy in the garden cutting back trees and shrubs and getting cuttings ready for planting up. We took time out on Saturday to wish Alan a Happy Birthday and discovered they were having a weekend away.

The tree came into flower this weekend, but looking at the photo we realised how much we have to do, we are moving the shed so have to concrete a new base also the tall tree at the back needs branches to be taken off and the fence needs attention.

Some of the plants we are bringing on in the polly tunnel the three rose trees I saved from the basket of flowers Siew Gin and Alan sent for my birthday they should look great this year.  Also the lupins we have brought on from seeds.

Patrick is very proud of his broad beans he has these in the polly tunel and more in the garden, trying a new way of starting off onions be interesting to see if they come on and produce larger onions.

We also have lots of seeds up in the green house hoping to pick things much earlier this year, strawberries are also looking great.
