When we left home it was snowing not a lot but at least it covered the ground.

On getting back to England spring had arrieved and our friends Val and Graham had done a great job looking after the garden for us, they had even brought on some of our plants and seeds.

While we were in the USA our Travel Bug of Tyler and Teddy had made it back to England to our cache Its Not Your Pen. So we had to make a quick dash up there to collect it. You can see it is spring, we are going to give him a new mission soon.

Last Day and Photo Shoot

Well our holiday is almost over Siew Gin and Alan arranged for us to go to Tylers Photo shoot, there were lots of photo's and Tyler was a little star.

Tyler could not wait to try out Mato's toy.

As Siew Gin and Alan were going out with friends they first dropped of Tyler to play with his friend and then we were off to the airport for the trip home.

We had a great time with Tyler and cannot wait until we see him again, and Siew Gin and Alan of course.

Last Week in USA

Well it is our last week but we still managed to do a lot of things including shopping with Tyler, geocaching and even managed a walk but the time went far too quickly.

Geocaching with Alan and Tyler I think he enjoys this activity.

We went to an outdoor store to buy camouflage tape and could not resit this outfit for Tyler. Is he well camouflaged.

Thursday nights is badminton night and then its on for a meal afterwards everyone made us feel very welcome.

He is a really happy baby and a joy to look after.

Sunday in Santa Fe

After arriving in Santa Fe we all had to dress quickly to go out for a posh meal. It was really good check out Alan and Siew Gin's blog for more details.



The apartment was really great it was a pity we did not get here earlier to explore a bit more, in the morning we set out for breakfast and to see the sights of Santa Fe. This brought back lovely memories of Alan and Siew Gin's wedding.

we went to the Travel Bug hotel but it was shut so took a photo outside to prove we had visited it.

After a great day and also some shopping we had to set out once more for Broomfield.

Trip to Santa Fe Saturday

Before we could continue our journey to Santa Fe the rest of them had to play badminton in Las Vagas, while they played we looked after Tyler and also managed to get in two geocaches.

There was a geocache here Patrick had to go back again after the snow melted could not find it the first time.



After the badmington was over it was a quick drive to Santa Fe, as the matches were so late finishing we had no time at all so it was a quick dash to the hotel change and head off for the posh meal Siew Gin and Alan had arranged.



Waiting for the meal it was very enjoyable and a real experience, it was a very good choice Alan and Siew Gin had been here for a meal before so they new how good it was going to be.

Trip to New Mexico 1st Day

On Friday afternoon we set off in a mini bus to go down to New Mexico, the weather was good when we left, there were ten of us plus Tyler. Alan drove for the first part of the journey and Stefan took over for the last leg.

Then off again in the bus to Las Vagas where we were spending the night, we had not been travelling very long when we hit the snow we were behind some cars and a lorry and the speed went down to 10 miles per hour. No sign of a snow plough, Alan did a great job getting us through to the next town. As we had now come down from the mountains the snow had stopped. It was about midnight when we got to the hotel.

At last now I can get some sleep.

We had a great time looking after Tyler and even managed a few geocaches and off course meals out but in no time at all it was time to get ready for our trip to Santa Fe.

Well after a long flight from the UK it was lucky we still went out from terminal 4 so our bags arrived with us just as well as they contained toys for Tyler.

Alan and Tyler were there to meet us, it was the first time he had met grandad.

Siew Gin was still at work but arranged to meet us for a meal, which we all enjoyed before heading to Broomfield.

Next morning Siew Gin went to work and we could not wait to give Tyler one of his new toys.
