Zoey fetches Ball

Zoey loves to go and retrieve her ball and when we get fed up throwing it she keeps dropping it down the stairs.

Not a good picture very difficult as she is very fast.

Misty Stuck in Sofa

Misty managed to get inside the box section of the sofa, she has done it before and got out this time she had got too large to make her way out.

Patrick had to take it all to pieces this meant removing the bed draw and then taking the sofa apart lets hope she dose not do it again.

Zoey was upset and tried to get in to help her as you would expect they were both very quite for the rest of the evening.

At least it meant we could clean behind the sofa

Misty and Zoey

Cannot believe how fast the Kittens are growing up.

Taken when they could both still sit on my mouse mat.

Zoey likes to fetch a ball this is her waiting on the top of the stairs for me to throw it again if she gets fed up she sends it down herself

Misty got fed up waiting to play with Zoey so decided to pull down the Teddy Bears

After playing they still need to cuddle up together thinking up more trouble they can get in

Boxing Day

The weather over Christmas was a lot of rain but on Boxing Day we managed to get out for a walk with Barry, Sarah, Jake and Daniel.  We decided to go to Nine Springs very muddy on the way up but out of the wind it was lovely.

There was lot more water than usual

Jake a rare picture with Daniel

If you look carefully you can make out the bird

Rag Day at Bridgwater Colledge

Motor Neurone Disease has been chosen as one of their charities for the year so Mike and I went along to man a stall for the day with information about the disease.  Some of the staff did an Ice Bucket Challenge and I thought this photo taken by Mike was excellent.

Camping in Moraine Park

This is a bear box  you have to store all food and toothpaste
Alan took us camping in the Rocky Mountains on Friday,

A bit of a shock to hear that the night before a bear had been in the camp site and had damaged 15 cars we were told to make sure all food was in the bear bins.  This was not good news for me as I have to get up in the night and did not fancy walking to the restrooms, I must say I was glad there were plenty of trees and large rocks.

While setting up the camp this lovely deer was right beside our camp space.

Tent set up
Siew Gin quickly had the fire alight and the evening meal started

Ready to eat

The boys had a great time climbing on the rocks.

It was so peaceful in the park and in the evening we toasted marsh mellows on the fire, sleeping was fun Patrick and I had Tyler and Cody went in with Mum and Dad.

Machine Room

The room is almost finished the ceiling has been re-boarded and plastered and we have decorated and painted, laid a new carpet.  Just waiting for a new blind should be here soon.

Every thing has been washed and oiled the machines have not looked so clean in years.

We have rearranged the room so that all three machines can be used at the same time and it has given us a lot more space.

My automatic machine is now in front of the window so I can look out at the garden, draw back is I can see what needs to be done.  It will be a lot better when the blind is up as this room gets a lot of sun in the afternoons.

The front and back lawn looked like a field

Rain Rain Rain

The rain started before Christmas and went on and on, when we returned from a lovely trip with Alan, Siew Gin and the boys we noticed something on the ceiling in the extension but no water coming in.

Within a few days we had this.

The surveyor informed us it was plaster fungus it appears there was a small hole in the roofing felt and the water had been seeping in and it looks like the some of the roof timbers will have to be replaced as well as the roof.

Patrick managed to remove the fungus and all of the ceiling tiles and we have been waiting for the contractors to come and repair the roof before we can take down the ceiling and have it replaced.

Patrick's Easter Holiday

We were so far behind with the garden due to the bad weather that we decided to spend the time getting the back garden into some kind of shape and we are very pleased with the results although so tired we can hardly stay awake when we sit down.  We should have taken pictures before we started showing all the weeds.

Before we started to put up the fence to divide the vegetables from the flowers again the bad weather blew down our old fence.

New fence up

Patrick mulching the flower beds, they had been weeded and treated and I do not know how many wheelbarrows it took to cover all the beds.

The rockery had a make over

Patrick then dug the veg patch

Me in the greenhouse potting up, Patrick managed to cut off my head.
