Snowing in Colorado

On the news it said we would have snow so as soon as I got up dressing gown on and out side to get photo's. This one is taken from the front door not silly enough to go out before getting dressed.

Alan could not wait for Tyler to wake up as he wanted to make a snow Angel. This was to be his first picture in the snow. Well he managed to get some good shots obviously they will be on his blog soon. I managed to get this one.

Shopping USA Style

This is Costco the way the american's shop in bulk, if we shopped like this we would need another house to store the food. They also sell other things like TV's and clothes, it was a real experience.

Tyler's first outing in the buggy to shop just look at the size of the boxes.

Just to illustrate the size I took a picture of the Special K beside Siew Gin's slow cooker. I have got to try and eat this before I go home think Siew Gin is going to have to help me out.

I saw the biggest ever chocolate cake for sale it would feed about 20 and it was only $15.99 you really need to have a large family.

I was just on my way out to the shops checked my e-mails and could not believe my eyes it cannot be Jake can it.

What did I learn about USA today

Siew Gin and I took Tyler to the shop for scrap booking I have never seen so much in one store, after spending some time looking at ideas, books, papers and equipement I just could not make up my mind. Val and Daph would have been amazed, and would you believe it I ended up by buying nothing. The good thing is I am now ready for another visit with my ideas sorted out.

No wonder people in USA put on weight you don't have to get out of your car they have drive in food, pick up your prescription and even post letters all from the front seat of your car!!!!!







Tyler spent all the time sleeping but he was ready for a feed when we got home, this is him after his feed.

JUST LOOK AT THE SKY

I woke up early on Wednesday and the bathroom window was red so quickly got my camera and went out on the back deck to get some photo's I was very impressed but it soon passed, have no idea what the time was as I was still half asleep.
