THANKS GIVING

The first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621, when the natives and he Pilgrims celebrated together.

In 1861 it became an official holiday when President Abraham Lincon proclaimed that Thanksgiving should be a national observance.

This is us sitting down to dinner Damith, Ricky, Alan, me, Siew Gin, Delina and Sabrina. Addy was taking the photo and Tyler was asleep.

Today it is a time when families and friends get to gether to give thanks and it involves a lot of eating of turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pies, and everything else you can possible get on the table. This was the first time I had celebrated Thanksgiving which we spent at Ricky and Delina's house in Boulder.
