The first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621, when the natives and he Pilgrims celebrated together.In 1861 it became an official holiday when President Abraham Lincon proclaimed that Thanksgiving should be a national observance.
This is us sitting down to dinner Damith, Ricky, Alan, me, Siew Gin, Delina and Sabrina. Addy was taking the photo and Tyler was asleep.
Today it is a time when families and friends get to gether to give thanks and it involves a lot of eating of turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pies, and everything else you can possible get on the table. This was the first time I had celebrated Thanksgiving which we spent at Ricky and Delina's house in Boulder.
