We started on the bedroom after chirstmas but it has taken quite a long time, we have removed the old built in wardrobe that was too small and built in a much larger one, after the pieces were delivered we discovered that we needed to cut the height down by 10cm and there was a lot of cutting and fixing to fit the new unit into the space. Now we have lots of storrage.
If we were going to build in the wardrobes we thought we would go the whole way, new curtains, carpet new bedside cabinets and chest of draws. While we were about it we repositioned the electrictal fittings. The biggest problem was we had to let all the water out of the water bed and of course it had to be refilled.
Jake had a great time when he came for a visit helping us to get the air out of the bed, we eventually had Barry and Sarah helping as well
While taking tea with Val and Daph in Denners I spotted new lampshades for the bedside lamps and ceiling.
While we have been busy inside we havent managed to get much done in the garden but the weather has been very cold and wet so I do not supose we would have done a lot.

We have been busy
We have redecorated the dinning room and this is a picture of the lounge end looking out on to the back garden, it has been painted with some new paint that reflects light and we are very pleased with the results. Patrick has also replaced the plug and light switches and instaled new wall lights .
In the lounge we have brought a new corner unit and chair it converts to a king size bed which is very confortable we had to sleep down here while we were doing the bedroom. Pictures on the wall are of Jake and Tyler with a space for the expected arrival.
View looking into the front garden unfortunately the sun was reflecting off the top pond.

NEW BABY EXPECTED
Sarah and Barry are expecting their second baby and everyone is really pleased. Jake is also pleased, and tells us it is going to be very tiny and can only play with baby toys.
Every thing is going well and Sarah looks a picture of health. The baby is very active and seems to kick a lot.

Geocaching Again
We have been trying to get out since Christmas to do some more caching. So last Friday we went to an event cache called Sitting Arround Talking about Geocaching. We met some very interesting people and it was great to put faces to names we see in the logs.

We tried to leave our TB here that I brought back from the USA but is was just too wet so it got logged in and out again and on to the next location.

Although everywhere was very wet we found this lovely church in a field and this is where we left our Travel Bug hope he enjoys going arround the UK.
Unfortunately Patrick and I have suffered from one cold after the other so this poor post remained as a draft feeling better today so thought I had better post it.

January was very wet
January has not been a great month although I did manage two trips to Bristol to see Jake and of course Barry and Sarah.
Siew Gin and Tyler have been to vist her parents and family in Malaysia for two weeks and I have been following their adventures on their blog. Alan has been working in China for the same two weeks he seems to have managed to do some sight seeing. They are all home now Siew Gin and Alan back to work and Tyler at daycare.
Barry and Sarah are expecting another baby 1st July and they are making great strides with the new house extension. They hope to get it finished before the new baby comes.

New extention, they have bricked up the patio door so Jake cannot see out now, but I think he is enjoying all the building works.

View from the bedroom window.
Patrick and I are busy building in new fitted wardrobes in our bedroom, and we are redecorating, new carpet and new furniture. Quite a difficult task with a water bed.
Patrick has some time off this month so we will hope to have it all finished during that time, it should be fun getting all the water out of the bed, I expect there are quite a few gallons in there.
