I have always wanted to visit Jane Austen's house where she lived the last 9 years of her life so after breakfast the sun was shinning so we set off. The house was like walking back in time and full of information well worth a visit.

This is the back of the house in the old Bake House which is not attached to the house they have also housed the pony carriage, in her life time the pigs were in here.

It was a very enjoyable morning and then we went off to find an old coaching inn for lunch unfortunately by then it had started to rain so no photo of the pub.
We then went on to Winchester when the rain was really heavy so settled for tea and cakes and decided to come back on the Sunday to finish off sight seeing here.
